Meet Festus Cobena Ainoo
Festus Cobena Ainoo is an emerging scholar-practitioner in Higher Education and Student Affairs with a strong background in academic support, student development, and institutional access, equity, and inclusion. He has served in various academic and leadership capacities across Ghana and the United States, experiences that have shaped his passion for building inclusive academic communities where students can thrive and succeed.
Currently, Festus is pursuing a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Higher Education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he serves as an Assistant Residence Director for Coolidge Hall. In this role, he supports students' residential experiences, oversees conduct and crisis response, and contributes to creating living-learning environments that foster belonging, engagement, and success.
Beyond his campus responsibilities, Festus supports thousands of students in accessing global education opportunities across undergraduate and graduate pathways. His work focuses on demystifying admissions, funding opportunities, and international education for students from underrepresented backgrounds. Through mentorship, advocacy, and strategic guidance, he empowers learners to discover and pursue their full potential.
